Echo for Roşia Montană

This piece could be filled with echoes, ad infinitum. (It is in itself a poem-echo of bent-in, round ripples from Yoko Ono’s Instructional Paintings)
It will result in an artwork signed by a potentially infinite number of artists.
It will be an open collage that will be created,initially, by thousands of people in many cities of the world, starting with November 3rd 2013. It is art as a form of freedom. The artwork represents a gesture of inner resistance and it is a revolutionary piece. Initially, it will be created by protesters against cyanide mining in Rosia Montana, against fracking, and for the Global Ecological Revolution and it is open to anyone who would like to take part.
Echo for Rosia Montana’ is a collective artwork formed of canvases from around the world which will be handed in the form of a collage to UNESCO Paris, including a global plea to include Rosia Montana in the World Heritage List.
Instruments:
a large, blank piece of paper/canvas; – a sensitive pen/pencil
Score:
The persons taking part will draw, one by one, lines around a linearly-sketched leaf in the middle of a paper/canvas, each reflecting as closely as possible the vibrations of the line drawn by the person before.
At the bottom of the page/canvas, they will write their full names in cursive letters, connecting all the words and thus forming a very long, potentially endless, new word.
At the end, this process could create a drawing resembling the rippling water of a pond, or a sea, or the round, trembling mirror of a well.
The drawing can be extended indefinitely and can be continued at different moments in time, in different places.
Additions will be made to the piece of paper/canvas if its edge is reached.
Act 1, scene 1: protest against cyanide mining projects in Rosia Montana, Romania and in all other locations in the world
Related scene: protest against fracking projects in Romania, and in all other locations on the planet.
Aim: beginning a Global Green Revolution.
Taking place: different cities of the world, where the manifestations in support of the Save Rosia Montana campaign take place. The list of the other participating cities of this global event, can be seen on this map (the green pins).
The collective piece will be accompanied by a signed certificate guaranteeing that the artwork is equally owned by all the participating artists and that it can only be sold with their express, individual permission. It will be a way of making visible the fact that natural and cultural heritage should not be sold or destroyed at any government’s whim. All fragments of this infinite piece will be sent to the same address where they will be assembled into one piece, to be presented to UNESCO Paris.

Această lucrare s-ar putea umple de ecouri ad infinitum.
(Ea este, în sine, un poem-ecou, din unde rotunzi, îndoite, pornind de la ‘Instructional Paintings’ ale lui Yoko Ono )
Va avea ca rezultat o lucare de artă ce ar putea fi semnată de un număr infinit de artişti.
Va fi un colaj creat, iniţial, de mii de oameni, în multe oraşe din lume, începând cu data de 3 noiembrie 2013. Arta ca forma de libertate! Lucrarea reprezintă un gest de rezistenţă interioară şi are o temă revoluţionară. Iniţial, ea va fi creată de protestatari împotriva exploatarii miniere pe bază de cianură la Roşia Montană, împotriva fracturării hidraulice a gazelor de şist şi pentru o Revoluţie Ecologică Globală. Lucrarea este deschisă oricui doreşte să ia parte la crearea ei.
Ecou pentru Roşia Montană este o lucrare de artă colectivă formată din fragmente create pretutindeni în lume, ce va fi înmânată la sediul UNESCO Paris, incluzând o cerere de a include Roşia Montană pe lista de patrimoniu universal.
Instrumente:– o bucată mare, albă, de hârtie/panză
-un stilou/creion fin
Partitura:
Persoanele care iau parte vor desena, una cate una, câte o linie in jurul unei frunze schiţate în mijlocul hârtiei/pânzei, fiecare încercand să reflecte, atât cat este cu putinţă, vibraţia liniei desenate de persoana dinainte.
În partea de jos a hârtiei/pânzei, îşi vor scrie numele întreg, cu litere de mâna, legând toate cuvintele şi astfel creând un cuvânt nou, ce ar putea fi nesfârsit.
La final, acest proces ar putea crea un desen ce se va asemăna unduirii apei unui lac sau a unei mări, sau oglinzii rotunjite, mişcătoare a unei fântâni.
Desenul se poate întinde la nesfârşit şi poate fi continuat la diferite momente în timp, în diferite locuri.
Se pot face adăugiri la bucata iniţială de hârtie (pânza), dacă desenul ajunge la marginea ei.
(Act 1, scena 1: protest împotriva proiectelor miniere pe baza de cianuri în Roşia Montană, România, şi în alte locaţii din lume.
De asemenea: protest împotriva fracturarii hidraulice a gazelor de şist în Romania şi alte locaţii din lume.
Scop: începerea unei Revoluţii Ecologice Globale
Locaţia iniţiala: diferite oraşe din lume unde protestul va avea loc începând cu duminică, 3 noiembrie, 2013
Lista tutoror oraşelor participante (din tara şi străinătate) se găseşte pe această hartă (notat cu verde).
Această lucare de artă va fi însotită de un certificat ce va autentifica faptul ca ea aparţine în mod egal tuturor artiştilor participanţi şi nu va putea fi vândută decât cu acordul expres, individual, al fiecaruia dintre ei. Va fi un mod de a face vizibil faptul că patrimoniul natural şi cultural nu ar trebui distrus sau vândut la bunul plac al vreunui guvern.
Toate fragmentele acestei lucrări nesfârşite vor fi trimise la aceeaşi adresă, unde vor fi colate într-o singură lucrare de artă ce va fi donată UNESCO.
